This weekend I decided to take another attempt at soup making. I received this soup cookbook from a friend so I decided to peruse it and see if there was anything that seemed tantalizing at the time. I found this recipe for Garlicky Lentil Soup and it turned out pretty well. In the future I will make a few minor edits but otherwise I like the soup. The recipe was relatively simple but it took a while to make since it required cooking down the lentils. It goes great with "crusty bread" and fortunately doesn't make SO much that I will be eating it for an ENTIRE week...only about 6 meals which is a LOT better than some of the other recipes that I make ;)
