So I've changed this item to include Foreign Films because I think that The Namesake definitely falls in to this category. It's a great film about an immigrant couples struggle when they move from India to the USA. I definitely felt for these characters throughout the film and, yes, I cried. (Which is not a frequent thing for me and movies.) Very moving, I'd recommend this. The cinematography isn't the highest quality (or at lease it wasn't on the DVD that I watched) but I think that adds to the effect. By the way, I'd make sure to get the version that has been "translated"...parts had subtitles but for the most part they've done voice overs in English.
